Hello world!

Our fountain is one of the most attractive design in our home or office. That is why it is imporant that we learn how to take care of it. Here are some simple steps in taking care of your fountain:
Add fresh water every 2-7 days because fountains go through more water than others. Fountains splash and water naturally evaporates over time.
If the water goes below the intake level of the pump, a slurping sound comes from the fountain’s pump, damaging your pump causing it to burn out.
Place the fountain on a timer for it to automatically turn off and on at set times.
For algae development, you may add sea salt, vinegar, hydrogen peroxide or bleach to the water, preventing its growth. Adding bleach or hydrogen peroxide to your fountain may disallow animals or pets from dringking it.
For algae growth in indoor fountains, keep it out of direct sunlight.
Clean your fountain every month to three months, it is recommended that you use a toothbrush, detergent and warm water for cleaning. You should include the rocks, bowls and shells in the fountain when cleaning.
Algae and mineral build up in the pump, limiting its ability to function properly so disassemble your fountain’s pump and clean the inside.
Fountain pumps are not designed to work outside of water, it should always be immersed when running.
Protecting the area beneath your fountain from water can be done using Plexiglas and plastic. Most types of fountains are designed to run without splashing, something that is interfering with the running water may cause splash.
Using rain water or distilled water in your fountain can result to your fountain’s best performance.
